Jair Dynast is one of the most versatile, upcoming hip-hop artist, producer, songwriter and lyricist around today.
Early reviews have labelled the lead single, "Vicious"/"Pull Up" to his solo debut album V.I.A.L.E.N.C.E. (release scheduled for 2nd quarter 2006) "Most Original", "Best Lyrics Overall", "Best Lyrics in Hip-Hop", among others.
Another song, "Can't Wait" (Apathy is Boring) from this same album is the theme song for 13-part CBC TV Series - Make Some Noise (www.makesomenoise.tv).
"Can't Wait" could stir-up some controversy during the Canadian Elections just called by Prime Minister, Paul Martin (January 23, 2006) after his minority government was toppled. This track deals with the apathy that 16-24 year olds have to the election process and the lack of political will to adequately address the issues North American inner cities face.
Forty-nine (49) young people in this age group have been slain by guns in a spate of gun violence in Toronto this year. The latest victim was gunned down at the funeral for his friend to the horror of grieving family and friends.
