Bazooka Tooth
I was so impressed with the Bazooka Tooth cover art that I wanted cop the album without hearing any tracks first. Stupid right? In our world of P2P filesharing and the Google Keychain hack I should probably just snatch some free mp3 samples before I buy. Or I can do the legal thing and read reviews. Here's what I found:
1. Jon says "I never thought I'd say it... these sounds are too abstract for me." Yep. Sounds like an Aesop Rock album to me.
2. Beat heard only two tracks but says they're "hot as hell."
3. Cats Music thinks "The music of Bazooka Tooth is harder and thicker than 2001’s Labor Days or last year’s Daylight EP, with more of the sci-fi dystopia feel that pervaded other Definitive Jux albums by El-P and Cannibal Ox."
And so far that's it. I'll update this post as more reviews happen.

Holleration
The bazooka tooth joint looks hot but, I'm sorry, I can't think about any hip hop that isn't Speakerboxxx/The Love Below until after Tuesday...
except for maybe Babu's Duck Season Vol. 2.

True, Bazooka Tooth has got some crazy almost techno-y beats, but they're still fresh...it's still Aesop but with a little different flavour. Pick up the album it's worth it, Limelighters feat. Camp-Lo is a sick track, way too good...

please don't feed the bazooka tooth - evolution superproof.... aesop does it again, this ain't Float, Music for Earthworms or Labor Days... this album smacks you in your face and leaves you in a flood of lyrics... I haven't stopped bumping it since a week ago....

ace is the place that will blaze every single race with a ribbon rip he won. beats better than a kerouac bounce on speed bop. some a tad cheeky, but overall darkness sublime, with some sunshine that wants to sneak through, but that aesop tongue sticks it with a bleek spike. pick it up. pace
