Advice for Farnsworth Bentley
Farnsworth Bentley, the Black metrosexual who became famous by holding umbrellas over P. Diddy's head and baby sitting the Band is now considering a rap career among other ventures. I think that's a big mistake.
He should continue being on MTV, doing skits on Outkast albums, and dancing with legends at the Grammy's. I hope he succeeds in his umbrella business, the movie script he's writing with Andre 3000, the comedy he's working on for Fox, and the promotional gig he landed with Courvoisier.
But Bentley, leave the rapping alone!
Making an album is the most uninspired idea you've had. Show us there's more than one way to hustle in this game. Leave the stunts to those who don't respect the culture and think we will buy whatever garbage they dump on the store shelves. Even an ok effort on may doom your career (think Madd Rapper).

Holleration
Did you read the piece on him in XXL? He basically said that Farnsworth Bentley was a character he created out of his real life persona. What inevitably happens to anyone in the entertainment industry who comes up with a character? They either become a rapper or a comedian.

I love him and although I am female, I carry myself in such a manner. People label me as super classy, and preppy. Wow but GOD blessed Bentley to use what God has given him. Do you, and remember you have a fan in me. You know we all would like to be in his shoes, but it's up to GOD to see fit. Stay focused! Keep GOD first. Ms. Peron

This group is for the people that are true. Not for people who believe in false prophecies. Nom De Guerre is a front and everyone in New York knows it. They are very confused and uneducated on what they are about. The front of the store is supposed to be about Revolutionaries and reinforcing different ways of thinking other than what the current culture climate is at right now. They want to stand for anarchy, socialism, maoism, muslim cultures but at the back of the store they sell Nike's. Anyone with a brain will tell you that doesn't make sense and also the fact that they sold Ice Creams makes you think twice about what they are really about. Money means more to them then being REVOLUTIONARY like they are "trying" to be. Maybe the owners are really uneducated? i am sure that they do not know one thing about politics and rely on their friends for that. I am sure that they never heard of a radio news station called Democracy Now. Eventhough, the downtown scenes and stores like Supreme have paved the way for their little trendy store, they don't seem to grasp what their meaning is.
Not to mention that one of the owners is a major prick pussy bitch.
If he is so into Anarchy and Skin Heads, why would he rely on the law to help him when a girl beats his ass infront of the whole downtown crew of Chloe Sevigny and Leo Fitzpatrick?
He ain't no Revolutionary. He is just some kid from California who thinks he knows what he is doing.
I don't think Farnsworth Bentley should shop there because the girl who beat ISA SAALABI up is Farnsworth and Andre 3000's friend.
Also, that HOLLY HARNSONGKRAM... you know that ISA is totally having sex with other girls and it is sad that you are okay with it and that you think you can control him with the store. You sad thing you... no, you sad OLD thing.

There is going to be a major event in Washington DC in 2007. A 50 year salute to Blacks in Fashion (a red carpet award show). Just to get your opinions would you travel and stay in DC for over 5 days for this event? It is suppose to last one week which would include concerts and galas and seeing your favorite actors and designers rip the show.

Bentley,
I consider you a distant mentor. I am an up and coming black image consultant with my own business. It would be amazing if you would make a guest appearance in a small town called Rochester New York (the home of Kodak). Maybe you could give a bro. a few tips and hints on success. Be cool and be blessed.
