Morgan Spurlock Sucks

The science behind the "smoking kills millions" talk is pretty shaky. So are the facts powering the oncoming anit-fast food movement.

Morgan Spurlock is smartly riding the wave before it hits. He's the guy who ate all that McDonalds to prove how harmful it is to the body and made a movie about it. Critics have raved about the film, but Byron Crawford isn't buying the hype. He says (and I agree):

"people like this Morgan Spurlock fellow, PETA, NARAL and the rest of these fruits make the left in this country seem like a buncha homos. Rather than, say make a film where he hunts and kills John Ashcroft, he makes a film that attacks McDonalds, which is mostly consumed by poor people and, most importantly, tastes fantastic."

Soso Whaley is doing the same experiment and she's losing weight. So what's the real deal?

From what I have read it seems like they are both right. Justin Logan points out she excercises a lot. From her own reporting she ate small amounts when eating at McDonalds. Morgan Spurlock did not excercise and ate 5000 calories a day worth of McDonalds. He shouldn't exactly be surprised that eating lots of McDonalds wasn't healthy.

McDonalds tastes fantastic? Compared to what?
McDonald is bland. Whatever flavour is in the food has been so skilfully blended away that it is impossible to determine what it is. After all if it tastes like anything in particular someone might take a dislike to it. Mass marketers don't like that.

Upon reading what Soso is eating, it's not the 3 course meals that Spurlock was subjecting himself to. She's not supersizing and she's also eating from the healthy choices menu which wasn't available when Spurlock was filming and was designed by McDonalds after the lawsuits against them for being unhealthy. Not that these healthy choices actually taste good, but they are specially created to be less bad than the alternatives (Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, etc)

If she wants to debunk this, she has to take the same 3 rules and do it properly. I'll save my judgement until somebody does it the same way.

Spurlock didn't hit 5000. He made up the number. He got interviewed on CNBC and they hit him pretty hard over the 5000 number. Lots of shady ish went down with this film. Anyway just cause Mickey D's sells all that crap doesn't mean you have to eat it. Eat 5000 calories of chicken or oatmeal or lean beef or anything else and you will be a fatso. Eat 5000 calories of Ben and Jerry's (assuming you can consume that many calories in a day) and you will be out of your mind fat too. Wait that company is "social responsible" or what ever that means...oh well you are still fat. Should I make a movie on that too. Just cause things will make you fat, doesn't mean you have to eat it. They aren't putting the food in your body, you are.

In 43 days I have lost 26.4 pounds eating nothing but McDonalds. I eat everything on the menu and have a salad about 2 or 3 times a week at best. My cholesterol has dropped significantly and I feel great. I have a page for each day and you can follow along with me as I too, prove Morgan wrong. It's not that I do not believe he gained weight, it is that he skewed the results for his desired effect of deceiving the public. I have skewed them just the opposite to offset his opinion. Morgan on the left, Soso in the middle and I am on the right.

From a personal experience I also ate McDonalds for 2 weeks period however not everyday. I gained 15lbs in those 2 weeks and I got really depressed too. If you are thinking that I ate food with more calories in days I didnt eat McDonalds than thats not the case at all. I was eating subway or other less fatty food because I wanted to see if what Morgan did is really true or not. From my personal experience I can definately tell everyone eating McDonalds is absolutely NOT HEALTHY at ALL! I got depressed as I mentioned before and felt lazy. I also excercised twice a week. Ive never touched any McDonalds product since then and ive lost those 15lbs. Fast food is not good every1 knows it but if you have no choice but to eat junk than do so. Dont make it your ideal diet. You will be sorry!

Well, I think it's clear that McDonalds is bad for you, and any fast food for that matter. The question for me is, are we as consumer's empowered enough to make McDonald's change their ways? If so, how? Is the government responsible in some way? Can we really say that companies like McDonalds are responsible for their actions? Shouldn't they be if they aren't? It's something to think about at the very least.

I just watched spurlock 30 minimum wage. What a bunch of bull. His job didn’t pay minimum wage. Most jobs don’t pay minimum wage. He mentioned single mothers but didn’t mention GOVERMENT ASSISTANCE>. He showed his American communist liberty union card (aclu) Showed a drunk murderer (Ted Kennedy). He’s a skinny micheal moore on. I wonder how he hurt his wrist (opening the door on his limo). Why didn’t he apply for food stamps. Job training given by the government. He should have knocked up the skinny cry baby skank or girl friend before the show then she could get focus hope and Medicaid. On hospital cost. He should have mentioned the reason it’s so high. For some reason Morgan Spurlock has managed to make a career out of pointing out the obvious. He received an oscar nomination for binging on McDonalds for 30 days straight and reporting his resulting bad health and now he has his own series. In the first episode he points out something else that's common knowledge: its barely possible to make ends meet on minimum wage. Luckily some people still make films that actually look beyond the obvious, like Soso Whaley's film "Me & Mickey D" in which she actually lost weight by eating as sensibly as she could at McDonalds for 30 days straight. I've seen "Super Size Me" and a few things stuck out: no one in their right mind eats that much McDonalds, there were times he ate when he wasn't even hungry (in one scene he actually continued eating AFTER he vomited), he didn't exercise at all, and finally if it was a valid "experiment" then what was his controling variable? And why didn't he have a bigger sample size? I guess her couldn't convice his vegan girlfriend to partake in such a stupid "experiment".

I will reiterate:

And, what's more, his film points out repeatedly that people who eat a lot of McDonalds don't go home and eat steamed vegetables and tofu. They eat Froot Loops, pork rinds, Hungry Man TV Dinners, and Ring Dings, washing it all down with plenty of Coke, 10% fruit juice sugar drinks, and Kool Aid.

His film is flawed and sensational. Yes, you can live healthy and eat at McDonalds. I will challenge again:

Do your own survey of 100 nutritionists and find me more than 10 that will say an everyday Mickey D's diet is smart.

Spurlock, whatever you think of him, made good points on America's obese, junk food obsessed, wasteful, greedy, bloated eating habits.

Eating regularly at McDonalds isn't healthy? Well Hello! I don't think we needed a movie to know that, its common sense and anyone who needs to watch a movie to know that has no sense at all. All these "good points" he seems to have pointed out are like I said before common knowledge. Why in the world has this man been able to make a carrer out of pointing out obvious facts any highschooler or even grade schooler would know! I should make my own movie where I smoke five packs of cigarettes a day for 30 days and document what happens, although I don't think there would be much of a surprise if I became ill. A more sensational movie would be one where he showed people how to live healthy on a budget. If anyone knows of a vegan restaurant with a dollar menu please let me know. As for the survey of 100 nutritionists, I think they would hang up the phone when asked such an idiotic question but you can feel free to conduct your own survey and find out what the rest of us already know.

Oh. So sorry. Everybody knows that right? That's why half the US walks around with size 48 Levis drooping around their asses and triple chins bouncing with every step. Because everyone knows that eating artificially produced pseudo-meat and chemical drinks is bad for you.

My mistake. I should have realized that everyone knows about nutrition, and that everyone knows about the diabetes epidemic that threatens an entire generation of people. I probably should have been aware that everyone knows how to cook decent food at home and that the incidents of obesity due to poor dietary habits, fueled by the fast food craze, are an American exception to the rule. I should have remembered that point that Spurlock makes about his mother cooking meals in her own kitchen as a great American legacy that continues even today.

How about the girl in the school cafeteria that buys candy bars, soda, and chips for lunch. I should have remembered that she is a freak of nature and that teens would never sacrifice their bodies for simple fleeting pleasures if you let them.

I guess you're right. The film is way to obvious and no one would ever be so stupid and shortsighted that they would become morbidly obese, diabetic, and food obsessed in America.

We're all way too smart for that and who needs to be slapped in the face with something so obvious that we'd be disgraced and humiliated to do anything to the contrary. We are a society of geniuses that routinely sticks to what's in our collective best interests. We're not at all a society of short attention span, pleasure seekers that sacrifice everything that is important in the world for our own immediate gratification......

We're a lot more like the selfless and noble generation of WW2 vets whose way of life is worth perpetuating for endless generations and to be admired for its poise, good sense, and dedication to moderation.

Yes I am right, it is common sense. But just because something is common sense doesn't mean people will actually abide by it. If you know that eating big macs everyday will make you morbidly obese, diabetic, and at risk for heart disease then then you most likely don't eat big macs everyday. But those who do are stupid, don't care about their health, and have no willpower at all. All those people you see over eating and eating things that are bad for them...of course they know its bad for them they just don't care! People do things all the time they know is bad for them like smoking, drinking, and having unprotected sex. Knowing something is bad for you and actually CARING is something totally different. Like I said before, who in the world eats all that McDonalds all day everyday, the man was eating when he wasn't even hungry. Frankly I think you need to calm down a tad bit, comparing the poor dieting habits of americans today to the "selfless and noble generation of WW2" vets is stretching it just a little bit.

They could peak you for homosexuality or addiction and then you would have to grapple with that problem too.
Understand how the corrupted INSTITUTIONS affect your life and make the appropriate changes. For example, they use democracy to justify instructing the computer to create a sense of empowerment, control. If you recognize this you are better able to address the damaging effects.
The gods will want to know who I helped and how they are doing. If people begin down the path with my teachings they will be on a list that the gods will PERSONALLY look in on. The numbers of people who pursue the path immediately after I illustrate it will be very small due to their minimization tactics, role playing, etc, and they will be members of an elite group.

The next best-case senario is when an individual finds the path themself and makes their way out before puberty.
Children who go up before puberty are candidates to remain the most superior of all life forms::The asexual. Expect these people to experience subsequent temptations once they arrive to further shrink the pool of candidates. Another example males are inferior to females:::Expect circumcision to play a part in these elimination rounds.
I think these are the TRUE candidates for immortality. This is not to say there won't be sexualized people who make it, but those who do likely practice minimally and monogamously in the context of marriage, and that would exclude most if not all from modern society. But I believe Planet Earth's only guarenteed IMMORTALS are those individuals who suceed at these tests and earn the designation of asexual.
The sexualization of children is yet another example proving the gods are preditory on children::::It eliminates these individuals from contention immediately.

Each one of us needs to evaluate our personal level of disfavor, and the following will help begin the process:::
1. Did they utilize the "push" or the "pull" strategy.
If one is pushed into their offense the gods are accepting culpability, for they are responsible. Contrary to what many disfavored believe, you are not "earning" when you volunteer. Rather you are incurring evil, for you have fallen for temptation.
Sadly, consistant with their pathology, there is a grey area here:::::AI pushed people into the act with no differentiation, that is it sounded like the person's own thoughts executing that evil. This tactic manufactured the grey area, and it allows them to claim a percentage of the disfavored who fall in this category, proving they will wash their hands and walk away from many disfavored.

Any tactic/temptation that is targetted to males is particularly preditory.
This entire society is geared towards males for a reason::Because the gods hold the males in disfavor and want them distracted by all the trappings this society has to offer, ensuring they fail.
Girl's toys (dolls) are constructive, foster a nurturing and caregiving dynamic which helps them remain uncorrupted. When pre-pubescent girls are subject to distraction they fall prey to male temptations (early sexualization a clue they are not welcome). Stories, romance novels, tabloids all target women, not girls.
There are far fewer distractions targetted to girls because the gods favor females and want more to suceed, fix their problems with the gods and ascend off Planet Earth.
The preditory distractions/temptations inflicted on males are endless:::

4. Party/mind-altering substances
5. Gambling. When females are subject to distraction they fall prey to male temptations, gambling being a HISTORICALLY MALE activity.
1. Weight training. Strength is exploited by the computer and hurts males ability to have a good relationship with the gods. They offer this activity in every prison system for a reason.
2. Gun ownership. Allows the gods to promote a sense of empowerment and control, destructive to a good relationship with the gods

When I try to help individuals I tell them to honor this day, for if they can realize they are corrupted, uncorrupt themselves and find the path based on my teachings it will be the most important day in their lives, these memories the most cherished they hold dear, for it will be the day when they saved themselves.
I tell them by honoring the day they will notice that they have a major problem with emotional depth.
This society has many desensitizers, preditory elements specifically designed to allow the gods to justify hurting people's ability to think. The gods manufacture "open doors" to justify creating problems in the lives of people who engage in behavior they shouldn't. Some of these "open doors" apply to a supermajority of the people::::

Other "open doors" are specific to each individual. People shouldn't be watching movies, TV, listening to music. When they do the gods use the themes and topics presented therein and Artificial Intelligence creates pathologies around them. Also they put forth intimate situations people SHOUDN'T be viewing. As is gossip-mongering, this is preditory on women and compells them to incurr evil.
If you are particularly intelligent, strong or very good at an (competitive) activity they will instruct Artificial Intelligence to create an overconfidence that will hurt you.
Differentiate between your thoughts and when they push thoughts. Recognize when they are employing "magic":::Peaked euphoria is the fuel of dysfunction and can help you identify these "open doors" in your life.

ANYTIME you feel "peaked", experience craving or ANY thought disturbance where you want or like something irrationally IT IS THEM TRYING TO HURT YOU!!!!!! "Magic" is used EXCLUSIVELY to hurt the disfavored; it is the fuel of disfunction::::::addiction, homosexuality, crack babies.

There are subtle (sub)conscious tactics they can employ with the computer to make you think as if you are cooperating when they really are pushing you into your offense. It is important that you differentiate between your thoughts and when they think through you, and this will only happen by doing the right things.

My advice is look to the long term goal of fixing your problems and differentiating between your thoughts and when they're thinking through you, but begin by addressing this issue of "peaked euphoria" right now.

The gods offer positive clues to people in a subtle, inferred manner::::

Reprioritize and eliminate non-crucial obligations.
They will use friends and family to create temptations, instill hurdles, try to prevent the candidate from ascending. They will use temptation and tell them whatever it takes to accomplish the task.

Women who have physical issues will be allowed to make progress. They will send a man around to express their interest, understanding he will get divorced in a couple of years. THIS IS NOT THE GOAL. Before 1900 life was hard but it was good. Now life is easy but it is ugly.

When the REAL Holocuast happens people will sit by idley and watch tens of millions of blacks/cholos/white trash die, people who are the way they are (abusive, abrasive, violent, criminal) BECAUSE of their disfavor, and the computer makes them like that because of it, yet another reason why empathy is so important.

There is no such thing as a savior. You have to save yourself.
Jesus never saved anybody. He went up alone. This is a very well-known event in Christian lore. Take it as a clue.

Remember:::Jesus went up alone. He didn't even save 12 of his closest friends. They have to save themselves. They are responsible for their own relationship with the gods just like each and every one of you.
Begin to live decent and respectable lives. The media is a poison-delivery system. Stop consuming it. Even the most begnign children's programming has the sinister strategic purpose of distraction.
If you are engaging in inappropraite sexual behavior you need to stop. Every act may be costing you dearly.
Find a new reality, absent of the temptations in society we believe to be cultural offerings. Don't forget:::African female genitile mutilation is cultural. Mayan human sacrifice was cultural. Remembering items like this will help you think clearly.

DON'T WAIT FOR THE GODS TO ALLOW YOU TO PRAY. They gods AREN'T GOING to give you permission. You have made so many mistakes they no longer want you and won't approve if you ask.
MY ADVICE TO YOU ALL is:::Begin to think correctly. People aren't god-fearing anymore. If you understood the misery they inflict upon those in whom they hold disfavor you WOULD BE AFRAID.
If you think correctly they would be more likely to be merciful when you do defy.
You are just becoming older. If you understood the significance of aging you WOULD HAVE GREAT URGENCY and you would begin IMMEDIATELY!!!!
And be aware of their tactics, for they will employ them all to prevent/delay your understanding. The more you can skip the quicker your learning curve will be.
IF YOU ARE NOT ACTIVELY WORKING TO FIX YOUR PROBLEMS AND GET OFF PLANET EARTH THEN YOU ARE GOING THE WRONG WAY!!!!!!

The 80s missionary issue was the attempt to help the Hindus achieve "salvation" under the positioning that is Manifest Destiny.

Latino people::::The gods drew you into the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH with trinkets and promises. Just like you wanted what the missionaries offered you WANTED to come to the US.
They FORCED the Europeans into Christianity with the "push" strategy. They LED Latinos there, utilizing the "pull" strategy, just like they are leading you into the United States today. This means something BAD for Latino people:::The gods are washing their hands of culpability and blame for this degredation of the Latino people.
Replay for all the Eases, Cholos and Latino Nationals. Translation:::Replay for all the cholos and normal Latino people whose children will be going in that direction if they stay in the United States. Incidentally, these people will be the Latino targets come the holocaust.
Foreign nationals go home:::The anti-immigration movement is another example of "back-handed help". Newspaper report (early 2007) said Asians have higher barriers to immigrating than other groups. Whereas they position this to the Asians and cry racism the truth is just the opposite::::It is protection, the gods are trying to help the most favored race, and the reason is because they are less disfavored.
Just like the Europeans 100 years before::::The members of the family with favor stayed in the motherland.

"Good sex" is a highly individual and unique experience. How you perceive sex has a lot to do with what you've learned about it, how it's viewed by your society or culture, and what value you place on it as a part of your life.
In the context of an ongoing sexual relationship, good sex can mean knowing what you want and what your partner wants, knowing how to talk about it comfortably, and never being forced to do anything you don't want to do.
